The ELIT Project

As part of EU Horizon 2020, a new ELIT Project “Empirical study of Literature Training Network” is launched. FELA is delighted to be one of the partner organisations in the Project.
The Project is now seeking to enrol 10 excellent early stage researchers. Successful applicants will take part in double/joint doctoral programs at a number of European universities including a training program in the field of empirical research in reading literature which will be organised for them. It is a wonderful opportunity.

ESR4: Literary text perception and comprehension (University of Warsaw, Poland)
ESR5: Literary Empathy and Morality (University of Verona, Italy)
ESR6: The impact of narrative structure on engagement (University of Haifa, Israel)
ESR7: The effects of literariness on empathy building in the classroom (VU Amsterdam, The Netherlands)
ESR8: Engagement of young adult readers in social media platforms (University of Basel, Switzerland)
ESR9: Shared literary reading and mental well-being in the digital age (University of Stavanger, Norway)
ESR10: Reading with digital tools in early childhood classroom settings (Trnava University, Slovakia)
The Program also ensures an inspiring monthly salary in accordance with the regulations of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions for Early Stage Researchers.
