European Literacy Coalition
The European Literacy Coalition meeting in Warsaw.
EU Literacy Coalition refers to the multi‑stakeholder coalition the EU Commission has formed to support the Action Plan on Basic Skills.
This coalition consists of representatives for researchers, education providers and literacy organisations among them FELA.
The members gathered in Warsaw for a two-day CO-CREATION WORKSHOP on May 6–7, 2026.
The FELA representatives are Sandra Kalnina (LatRA), Veera Kivijärvi-Lehvonen (FinRA) Patrick J. Burke (LAI), Marieta Tzvetkova (FELA chair) and Meeli Pandis (EstRA).
