THE FELA-FUNDED RESEARCH PROJECT IN CRETE, 2012-14
This project was carried out by a team of teachers led by Dr Popi Kassotaki-Psaroudaki of the University of Crete, and received funding of €3000,00 from FELA. Its title was:
‘A distance education course: Professional development regarding the instructional approach of informational texts in preschool education’
Briefly, it found that a comprehensive professional development plan concerning the integration of informational texts can increase teachers’ knowledge and encourage them to participate in collegial interactive models to improve student learning.
