Literacy is the readiness to read, write, speak and listen in a way that lets us communicate effectively and make sense of the world. The people enjoying reading are more likely to have wellbeing, too.

What can FELA do to improve people’s prerequisites to access, read and comprehend, and create literature and texts, pictures and videos, as well as combinations of them mediated for various purposes, in their social and cultural environments?

FELA network is able to grant access to various initiatives of promoting and researching literacy. On the page “Publications” of FELA-Website, FELA member associations can submit literacy promotion material from the current discourse in their own country or in collaboration internationally: academic or professional articles or presentations, video-clips and websites.
