Additional Programme (July 9th)

Programmes include departure and return by coach from Ljubljana, and services of a professional licensed English-speaking guide.

Bled and Radovljica

Distance from Ljubljana: 55 km | Approximate duration: 7–8 hours

Price: 80 €

Discover Lake Bled, a true alpine postcard. Visit Slovenia’s oldest castle, perched above the lake and home to a museum. Take a traditional Pletna boat to Slovenia’s only island, with the option of visiting the church. Have lunch in a typical local restaurant (optional). On the way back, stroll through the charming medieval town of Radovljica. Return to Ljubljana in the evening.

Included in the price: pletna boat ride to Bled Island and admission to Bled Castle.
Not included: lunch.

Postojna Cave and Slovenian coast (Piran)

Distance from Ljubljana: 120 km | Approximate duration: 8–9 hours

Price: 80 €

Visit Postojna Cave with a train ride through its impressive underground galleries and karst formations. Continue to the Slovenian coast and the town of Piran, famous for its Venetian architecture. There will be a guided walk through the old town and Tartini Square, followed by free time by the sea. Return to Ljubljana in the evening.

Štanjel and Kobjeglava

Distance from Ljubljana: 85 km | Approximate duration: 8-9 hours

Price: 65 €

Visit the Museum of Slovenian Language and Books at Štanjel Castle Museum and explore the Lojze Spacal Gallery. Enjoy a guided walk through the charming medieval village of Štanjel. Finally, visit the Ščuka prosciuterria in a nearby village (Kobjeglava), learn everything about the Karst prosciutto production and taste some local specialties.
