Types of sessions
Oral presentation (20 min = 15‑minute presentation and 5‑minute Q&A)
We invite both Practice Sessions and Research Reports. In Practice Sessions, presenters will draw on their own professional practice and expertise, or on a school or library project. These sessions should include critical reflection on the strengths and limitations of the approach. In the abstract, the aspect of professional practice being presented should be clearly described. Research Reports (on planned, still ongoing or completed research) should include a clearly defined research question and a hypothesis, supported or rejected based on data collection or key findings. Innovative approaches or methodologies should be briefly indicated in the abstract.
Symposium or Round Table (80 min)
A group of at least 4 speakers/research papers. The speakers will present different perspectives on a particular approach or issue and invite participants to discuss. The symposium or round table should have a title. The theme should be clearly described, and each presentation should be summarised in a few sentences.
Workshop (40 min)
A workshop is a practical session led by one or more presenters, focusing on innovative and/or good practices. Workshops should include minimal presentation time and a high level of participant interaction. Participants should be actively engaged with a certain approach or tool (e.g., test, computer program, teaching method, etc.). The presenter should outline the focus of the workshop and describe the nature of the activities participants will experience.
Poster presentation
Posters should be designed as a clear visual summary of the presenter’s work or project. They are intended to encourage and support short discussions. The submitted abstract should clearly explain what the poster will present, highlight the most important research or project results, and indicate whether charts, graphs, photos, or other visuals will be included etc. The conference organisers will provide suitable panels available for the exhibition of submitted posters. Details regarding the poster format will be announced at a later date.
