A European Conference on Literacy is held every two years. The European Conferences on Literacy  are jointly organized by FELA  and the local national association’s organising committee. Although the main Conference language is English, a speaker may present a paper in any European language. There are normally, therefore, sessions in German, Spanish, and French besides English.
