The 22nd European Conference on Literacy is taking place in Dublin, Ireland. Known for its long literary tradition, its culture, and its friendly welcome, the city promises to be an exciting venue for both conference activities and further excursions. Culture and History
The cultural scene in Dublin attracts visitors from every corner of the world. Several renowned national cultural venues, including the National Gallery, and the recently established Museum of Literature Ireland are located close to the city centre and the conference venue.The country’s rich theatrical tradition is show-cased in a number of lauded city-centre venues including the Gaiety and the Abbey Theatre.
